Communism and Fascism
June 11, 2019
When I was young, the 1960’s, the loss of personal liberties or control by mentally ill “Rule the World” types was barely even considered a threat here in the USA.
Well the other day I was on a radio talk show and blurted out that we are really more like a communist country with socialistic rules that benefit the few and leave the rest of us out in the cold…ouch.
So I thought I may need to go back and be more precise as to what Communism and Fascism mean.
No not a 6,000 page thesis that will be ripped apart by some pompous arrogant debt slaver in this or that school. But just a simplified description of Communism and Fascism for the rest of us.
Communism
In political and social sciences, communism (from Latin communis, “common, universal”) is the philosophical, social, political, and economic ideology and movement whose ultimate goal is the establishment of the communist society, which is a socioeconomic order structured upon the common ownership of the means of production and the absence of social classes, money, and the state. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism
Fascism
Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of radical right-wing, authoritarian ultra-nationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. The first fascist movements emerged in Italy during World War I, before spreading to other European countries. Opposed to liberalism, Marxism and anarchism, fascism is placed on the far-right within the traditional left–right spectrum.
Fascists saw World War I as a revolution that brought massive changes to the nature of war, society, the state and technology. The advent of total war and the total mass mobilization of society had broken down the distinction between civilians and combatants. A “military citizenship” arose in which all citizens were involved with the military in some manner during the war. The war had resulted in the rise of a powerful state capable of mobilizing millions of people to serve on the front lines and providing economic production and logistics to support them, as well as having unprecedented authority to intervene in the lives of citizens. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism
So times have changed a bit because in the 1960’s Communism was described more like the description of Fascism.
So funny, if you call yourself an anti-communist most people think you are talking about Russia or China. Fact is only the pompous arrogant would be anti anything about a country or people that they know nothing about and have never visited.
My interest in anti-communism is the communist that are active in the USA or the new American communist that have few ties to what we perceive as communist nations other than a few foreign assets that are scattered here and there around the USA.
Most countries have their problems and they deal with them as they see fit.
It is best not to meddle in others affairs. Especially when we have so many critical issues that need to be dealt with here at home.
But, for profits the media will try and stir up trouble, proving their incompetence and selfishness. Like war, IGNORING THE FACT THAT WAR IS FAILURE.
So I suppose I would more easily be categorized as an anti-fascist, primarily because Fascism removes the freewill demanded by God.
