A Prayer for Pope Francis

Thank You for Coming to the USA!

Dear Lord, Thank You for sending Pope Francis to the World Meeting of Families and for visiting the USA.
Please watch over this man Papa
His visit is monumental to many millions of people
Help him refresh often as you have so far
His love for mankind seems limitless
Protect him and help him keep love the focus
As the troublemakers who would seek to co-opt (the hundreds of millions of hours and good deeds done by the Catholic Church worldwide) to benefit their own self serving agendas.
As he brushes the cynicism of the self righteous
As he tolerates the bullies and the arrogant
Remind him to keep his face in the light of love and justice
Remind him to look at the crowds that are not only in love with him but are looking to him for love and hope
Remind him how Catholic Missionaries and staff have changed towns, cities and even countries into better places without a shot fired, using only love and kindness.
Remind him that the Catholic Church is a Huge Success
And that this is no longer the 1500’s where the church had to, under duress, be obedient to evil selfish or incompetent kings and queens
In 2015 the Catholic Church is a friend to mankind, a power and energy for mankind, love and justice.
A loved organization that can openly frown on selfishness and bureaucratic debauchery in the name of their love of God, mankind and future generations.
Pope Francis is a great man with a huge task in his own organization.
God Bless him as he himself and the rest of us seek to weed away the egotists that worship themselves and their self designed importance rather than worship God and the words of kindness, peace, justice and love for all of mankind.
We are all brothers and sisters on this planet
God Bless him for his love of God and all of mankind.
All lives matter
Thank you for spending almost an entire week in the USA, you are loved.
Thank you for the work you do worldwide and the lives you save.
God Bless Papa Francis and the Catholic Church.
