This is my perspective after many decades of how to place everything in some kind of order.
We are born as energy packed beings part of a species called human. Included is a soul, in our soul is naturally the spirit of let’s say, A Christ inside “The Holy Spirit”, a natural desire for self preservation of ourselves, our friends and our species and a natural sense or desire for justice and mutual caring which is in our best interest.
As time goes on, while we are protected and raised by our parents we may see all types of behaviors, included in those many behaviors that we see and learn about are what we call Satan or evil behaviors.
To make it easy always remember that everything about our lives is a choice, we choose to either live by the kind, peaceful and humane choice that is offered by our built in holy spirit, our natural spirit of justice and mutual caring or we choose to live by the evil spirits choosing instead options of rage, anger, hate, dishonesty and various other behaviors that are all included in the evils that I personally look at as the gnashing of teeth behavior systems.
Evil teaches us to NOT care about people and sometimes even ourselves.
The holy spirit, of whatever God you choose, demands justice and mutual caring for and about others including caring about ourselves.
So you see it is very easy.
And the results are obvious and have been proven many times over and again.
Good attracts and builds goodness while the options we are offered by Satan’s evil attracts and builds evil.
So far in this life of many decades I can tell you for sure that the good by far outweighs and outnumbers the bad. The bad are just noisy so they get the attention; I sometimes think they crave as a result of being so empty inside.
Which is may have been what we are reminded of by this old quote: “The only ingredient that evil needs to grow is for good men and women to do nothing!” or something like that.
