Leadership and Courts as Profit Centers

Was the joke on us?

Thousands of years ago Sun Tzu a philosopher warned us of the results of a society that chooses war and military involvement rather than investing in enjoyable lifestyles.
“Poverty of the State exchequer causes an army to be maintained by contributions from a distance. Contributing to maintain an army at a distance causes the people to be impoverished.” or Reduced to poverty, deprived of strength, vitality, creativeness, etc. Increases in drug addiction and crime.
“On the other hand, the proximity of an army causes prices to go up; and high prices cause the people’s substance to be drained away.”
“When their substance is drained away, the peasantry will be
afflicted by heavy exactions.” or Extortion against them which is followed by them, imitating the leadership, following suit and extorting from each other. Fees, reward for playing against ones neighbors for the state, or contribution demanded or levied with severity or injustice.
“With this loss of substance and exhaustion of strength, the homes of the people will be stripped bare, and three-tenths of their income will be dissipated; while government expenses for – war – will amount to four-tenths of its total revenue.” Which is even lower than what current war addicted societies spend or steal from their people for secret war expenses.

Consider why the people of the USA decided to put guards and metal detectors at the doors of government buildings. Since almost nobody attacks anyone unless they feel cheated or abused in some way. Why did the court officials need protection, which by the way is about the same time as US corporations were allowed to manufacture overseas and sell here with and without even paying taxes.

Now it seems we have everyone from sophisticated crooks to just morally bankrupt people manipulating courts to achieve if not extortion then at the least just people that have miserable lives spreading their misery via dragging others into that abyss.

Why didn’t we fix it? Why did we train people to force or trick our society into obedience rather than dissect to the real problems, which are mostly economic?

Have we hit the limit of our capabilities that so many people are unhappy and some just spreading misery like mangy dogs is the base which we are looking to our future from?

Money for war has destroyed pretty much ever nation that tried to sustain it, and always ended up with huge collateral damage as the military mentality became the mentality of the regular police.

While at the same time we have so much untapped talent that is not even capable of changing things for the better because as a result of economic mismanagement or theft so many are stuck on the hamster wheel just trying to keep a roof over their heads.

While 1% make $10,000 or a million dollars a day the majority have no life except one, two or three jobs. Is that the USA envisioned by our forefathers or the millions who fought wars on our behalf?

When will we decide to stop this downward spiral based on hate and distrust which is nothing but a con game “dog eat dog” that was thrust on us in the 1960’s so the incompetent could justify theft and advantage.

The Young Deserve Better!

God Bless
