There is Hope… The Pope is Off the Rope?

Thats what people in communist countries see when someone doesn’t want the truth out!

Anyway the Pope took a stand or reminded us about two important issues. Global warming is real, for instance an article today that at St. Augustine Florida the water is rising to the extent that they consider that the city may soon drown.

And Palestine, from my perspective why hasn’t American media put out there for all to see what has really been happening in Palestine for decades. The suffering of innocent people. The poll here about the Popes decision to recognize Palestine was 53/47 agreeing which means that over 50% have no idea what is really happening other than the stories invented for personal, religious or political gain.

A couple of years ago I went to 6 big churches and asked if I could have a discussion with someone about God. They all handed me a pledge envelope.

Are we lost? When America started, whether it was a small town on the east coast or a sodbuster town in Kansas when anything horrendous or threatening was happening in that town you could pretty much count on the small town preacher to be there soon to see what was needed to help.

As times have changed, be it indoctrination by the magical folks upstream from us all or that the churches are overwhelmed. The most common thing I hear when, if anyone is allowed to bring it up at all, anything horrendous or threatening is happening in our society is “It’s Gods Way!”

Is that indoctrination and rule from above? Earthy above I mean.

So what if that preacher was a fireman? Would they say let it burn it’s Gods way?

Or an EMT showing up at a car accident, don’t help them it’s Gods way.

Or someone is having a heart attack, don’t help them it’s Gods way.

I will stop there with that just to say that where I come from God is love and it is a sin to see bad things happening to people and not do anything about it.

The politics of politics and government has no place in God’s house but in the politics of the churches have we strayed so far from God that the arguments in the church are almost identical to the arguments in government.

A battle between the slothful and incompetent dreaming up reasons why they cannot or should not do anything and the those whose hearts are in constant sorrow knowing that people are suffering and they are being told that they cannot or should not do anything about it?

Indoctrination from on high needs to be looked at again. Whether it’s the indoctrination of the lawyers as superior and more worthy human beings as so many of them go home at night with sorrow in the fact that they were forced to do someone innocent harm because of sets of rules that are passed down to us from on high.

Or the lovers of God that seem to be indoctrinated that they are no longer allowed to participate meaningfully in the lives of the people in their society.

These times are a turning point, it is a point where the striving of our parents and grandparents to make it as good of a world as we can make it has been very much achieved.

We have more wealth and more intellectual resources available than at any time in history. Yet we still see people trying to sell us archaic ways of war, seperation and subjugation.

Now let’s bring this home.

Some Europeans are proudly marching people around glorifying war which will solve no issues.

The Vatican is reminding us that there are some very important issues that need to be dealt with including stopping unnecessary pain.

Who is The United States? What will our legacy be? Will history show us as the tool that ushers in wars and rumors of wars to pacify the desires of a few that are personally miserable and want this to be the end times or just to make huge profits?

Or will we start exposing the problems for what they are, leave the monkey see monkey do behavior behind and start doing what “We the American People” have always been very good at doing…

Throw off the indoctrinations dealt to us at the whim of self professed Gods.

And start again solving fantastic problems with fantastic solutions!

Belief is a choice, we are all free to believe in whatever we want as long as we don’t try to force others to believe what we want them to believe.

The only thing we need to bring back into the formula is COOPERATION between all beliefs for the common good of all mankind.

War is a racket! Or have we come to mistake war for profits. Watching defensive capabilities dwindle as a result of meddling around in other peoples affairs may not be the wisest startegy.

Business is delivering a product or service in hopes of gaining a reward or profit.

Business only becomes like war when someone seeks or gets an unfair or illegal advantage.

And unlike war we don’t have to break it purposely then fix it.
