I came across this image the other day, from an artist in Europe, and it reminded me of the way so many feel about the USA. Millions of people worldwide adore the idea of Justice that the USA rolled onto the world stage back in the mid 1900’s. Now they are hoping that we will regain it. Back then people sought to bring their court cases to the USA because we were thought of as the place where a fair and impartial conclusion would be the result. Lawyers, barristers were proud of the integrity of our justice rather than it just being an appendage of the problems.
Andy help us, Barney is marching people off the cliff!
(from the Andy Griffith Show where an even tempered sheriff “Andy Griffith” was constantly having to reel in the deputy Barney Fife who constantly wanted to abuse power and authority.
In the Andy Griffith Show Barney Fife was constantly ignoring peoples human dignity or trying to take it away by getting all perturbed because he was too lazy or couldn’t comprehend what was really going on and would constantly pull his gun to solve problems.
Andy Taylor was his reasonable and rational boss that was constantly trying to get him to understand that we all have inalienable human rights and the dignity that goes with it. So he had to constantly take the bullets out of Barneys Gun so he wouldn’t hurt himself or anyone else.)
Since the 1990’s in one particular area we have failed miserably. Mass incarceration caused by a general mindset of “We are too lazy or corrupt to deal with the real issues so we will just put people in cages until someone else diagnoses the root issues and solves the problem for us”.
Now it is out of control from people we pay to keep us safe taking our personal property to gangs of them conducting raids on places like health food stores and then sending them a bill to pay for the raid!
OR, floating bond issues that people 30 years from now will have to pay for, long after the usefulness of whatever they used to money for is gone. Or bailing out incompetent companies with taxpayer dollars!
Wow, and people globally are seeing this.
Will the USA recover from the communist style abuses of power and authority? Will we stop victimizing the victims and get to the root issues?
I assure you most of the world hopes we do recover. The people of the United States doesn’t want to see the gnashing teeth style of gang rule that is now trying to grow. Neither does the world. For hundreds of millions we, the people of the USA, still are the hope!
And if we don’t recover the global sadness will be likened to the huge surprise and outpouring of both love and sadness that resulted when a great beacon of hope Princess Diana left us.
Come on America, please take a step back, take a closer look. We have a President that will help us do the right thing. Notice I said “will help us”, stop expecting one man to solve all your problems YOU must get involved. Bring solutions to your elected representatives! Go to their offices, those offices belong to YOU!
All across the globe there are hundreds of millions of “sparks of hope” that we will recover and do the right thing. Because their lives will be better!
OR, you can sit on your asses, let the Barney Fife’s and the gangs of criminals and thieves that have attached themselves to Barney continue to pillage us. Let them continue to bury Truth and force us into their dark idiot mindset. Then go ahead and rename the US to The Communist Police State of America!
In the old US great journalists became great because they exposed twisted people and their twisted agendas! In the new US we are applauding the smashing of truth and rewarding political correct obedience to what is as close to a communist state as you can get!
Who are the people of the United States… really?
