Pondering BREXIT and the Protestant

I am excited about the coming rebirth of the Protestant Movement. Have you ever heard of them? They are the youngest of the religion, beginning somewhere around 1517 yet they now have maybe a billion members. Believing in the Bible alone as the guide for our lives rather than traditions set in place by someone at some time. Monkey see monkey do.

So in less than 500 years we are already playing with the big boys! (-:

Splitting from the then controlling church: Wikipedia.org:  “With its origins in Germany, the modern movement is popularly considered to have begun in 1517 when Martin Luther published his Ninety-Five Theses as a reaction against abuses in the sale of indulgences, which purported to offer remission of sin to their purchasers.”

We must love all people and all religious people, with Jesus in your heart it is easy.

Most people know that they did not create themselves and that they are not alone. Whichever religion you choose it is better than wandering through life like a beast with no connection to the more powerful spiritual self and the holy spirit.

It does bring to mind though some of the differences which if you are righteous, shouldn’t matter because we are forbidden to judge others.

So what is righteous? It is a moral state of excellence or perfection for those that are seeking to live in heaven through eternity. Verses self righteous which is thinking of yourself as a supreme being instead of as a part of the brotherhood of God and man.

Why did I think of this today or over the last few days?

Brexit! The vote in Great Britain to remove themselves from the European Union.

After the riots in the high school I went to and the resulting FBI reports about who caused them and why. My resulting interest in administration of governments was blessed by allowing me to be mentored by a retired federal judge, which allowed me to meet all kinds of powerful elected people and corporate executives. Then dutifully joining the military during Vietnam and seeing the result and effectiveness of how our government and their friends the corporate executives ran our government especially when the results included killing people and our people being killed.

So you see I have been around the block a few times and already knew that the European Union was a cookie cutter version of what the United States has become. Sadly, even to the point that it seems money grubbers, corporations and other groups are now writing laws and the passing them to our legislatures to be made into laws.

And to see that the Electoral College which was instituted to protect our Republic from any kind of clever domination by foreign powers is now used to facilitate dishonest election results.

Crazy, crazy games. Games of the flesh.

Not crazy? Consider this, you can go onto youtube.com and see legislators promoting bills that have a body burden of only 10 per thousand! What does that mean in laymen’s terms? It means they want the other legislators to vote on a bill knowing full well that 10 out of 1,000 people will die if the bill is passed. That’s Crazy.

Maybe it’s time to take control of our country again!

Moving to the judiciary be reminded that they are almost all attorneys and then the legislature is almost all attorneys and that more than most belong to a almost private club or corporation call the BAR.

Now let’s jump to the top of all the courts in the USA, the Supreme Court and we see that three of the eight now sitting supreme court justices are Jewish and five of the eight are Catholic.

Where are the Protestants?

I am not talking affirmative action at all, it is just interesting. That in a nation that is over half, by population, Protestants there are no Protestants on the Supreme Court.

Could it be that the demands of playing their game is something that does not interest Protestants? That in the Bible it is OK for the Protestants no not have even one Supreme Court Justice because in some way the moral cost, their love for God and/or Jesus Christ or biblical teachings prohibit them from somehow selling out their God to feed the ego or need of power that results in becoming a Supreme Court Judge?

I don’t know. But I do know, after having lived in dozens of states in the USA the Protestants are everywhere doing as much good as they can find to do. Even the thousands of the smallest of independent churches struggle but make it through and bring joy, happiness and peace to millions of people daily. Without forming Political Action Committees, selling guilt or fear for advantage, destroying anyone’s lives or sucking of the Government tit.

Maybe the difference is something as simple as striving to be righteous over self righteous and the willingness to openly talk about it.

And since the Protestants pay most of the taxes, employ most of the people and allow more sacrificing of their children when government calls for war than any other group, isn’t it interesting that you hear little about Protestants anywhere.

Common saying in the Protestant world is “Let Go and Let God!” or “Turn your worries or troubles over to God!”

But….What about the bus that is about to run us over? Shouldn’t we take action and get out of the way?

As they continue to sell you FORCE, please remember that LOVE is the most powerful FORCE on this planet!

Justice and Mutual Caring does include Integrity, Honesty, Fairness etc.
